A Senior Portrait Session is Perfect For You If…

Reason No.1

You want to document who you are right now, during this milsetone moment - on your terms. This is one of those rare chances to be fully seen, without Instagram filters or pressure to get likes. Your senior portrait session is about celebrating YOU, exactly as you are (just in your most flattering light, obvi).

Reason No.2

You want photos that actually feel like you. No stiff poses, no awkward smiles, and nothing that feels old-fashioned. I work with you to create images that reflect your personality, your personal style, and your overall vibe - whether that’s playful, serious, artsy, sporty, or somewhere in between.

Reason No.3

You’ve put off having photos made because you hate being in front of the camera. The good news is I consider half my job is making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Nearly all of my portrait clients have felt the same way you do and they all report their session experience felt easy and even fun. 😉

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Ideally, you’ll want to book your session the summer before senior year or sometime in the fall. This gives you plenty of time to plan, shoot, and get your images ready before yearbook deadlines or graduation announcements. That said, these sessions can happen anytme of year.

  • I shoot all around San Francisco and the Bay Area — from iconic city spots to quiet nature escapes. I’ll help you choose locations that fit your personality and vibe.

  • Since we’re shooting outside, we want to utilize the most flattering light (early morning or late afternoon). Most teens don’t like to wake-up super early on the weekend 😜, so we almost always have our shoot during the afternoon golden hour.

  • Yes! I give guidance on the colors, fabrics, and patterns that photograph well, but I also give seniors plenty of room to dress in their own style. Teens tend to very specific tastes and I want them to feel like their clothing really represents them at this moment in time.

  • Yes! A few shots with a parent, sibling, or best friend can be a sweet way to remember this moment. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

  • I tell folks it will take 1-2 weeks but about 95% of the time, I’m able to get your images to you within 1 week. All the images in your gallery will be lovingly edited to enhance color, light, shadow, and skin tones.

As a mom to two teenagers myself, I have an ease with and respect for kids at this age that informs they way I interact with and photogrpah them.

I’d love to make photos of your teen! Online self-scheduling is available, or we can chat by phone before you book. It’s easy either way.
